Victim of Any Type of Violence

Questions about being a victim of violence were part of a NIOSH-sponsored supplement on occupational health and were administered in the NAWS for two years: 1999-2000. During that period, two percent of agricultural workers reported that they had been the victim of an act of violence sometime in the last year. The majority of agricultural workers reported that the violence took place at a location other than work or home and the perpetrators were mostly unknown.
