The share of agricultural workers who reported that their current farm employer provided insurance under specific circumstances increased over the 15-year period. For example, in 2013-2014, 69 percent of agricultural workers reported that their employer provided coverage for a work-related injury or illness, representing a four percentage-point increase from 1999-2000. Although the share of workers who reported that they were covered for a non-work related injury or illness was generally low during the 15-year period, it nearly doubled over that time, from 8 percent in 1999-2000 to 14 percent in 2013-2014.
